Amazing Tanzania is a registered, licensed Tanzanian safari operator with over 35 years of continuous operation. We are not an internet reseller or a foreign booking agent — we are based in Karatu, on the doorstep of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and every journey is operated by our own team.

Our directors, guides, drivers and camp staff live in Tanzania. We monitor wildlife movements, road conditions, camp quality and airstrip schedules daily. When you book with Amazing Tanzania, you are booking with people who know this land intimately.

No two journeys are the same. Every itinerary is designed around your interests, pace, budget and travel style. We do not sell fixed-departure group tours — every safari is private and personalised.

Our private mobile camps are positioned seasonally in prime wildlife areas — no shared facilities, no fixed schedule, no compromise. This is the most exclusive way to experience the bush.

We are one of Tanzania's most experienced walking safari operators, with trained guides, armed rangers, and a safety-first approach that allows you to experience the bush on foot.

Our guides are not drivers — they are naturalists, photographers, and storytellers with decades of field experience. Many have been with us for over 15 years.

We operate our own fleet of specially modified 4x4 safari vehicles — not rented or subcontracted. This gives us complete control over maintenance, comfort and reliability.

Our proprietary operating system (ATOS — Amazing Tanzania Operating System) connects every department — reservations, finance, operations, camp, fleet and guides — ensuring no detail is lost and every booking is managed to the highest standard.

Beyond Tanzania, we arrange seamless extensions to Rwanda for gorilla trekking and Uganda for primates and savannah. One team, one standard, one point of contact across East Africa.

From the first inquiry to your final airport transfer, you are cared for by a dedicated team. We meet you at the airport, brief you before each safari, and remain available throughout your journey.
